My go-to dressing whether at home or eating out is balsamic vinaigrette. So many people buy bottles of salad dressing, when it is one of the easiest things to make. And, like anything you make yourself, you can then control the ingredients (more or less depending on what you like, plus the opportunity to use higher quality ingredients). I like to prepare a few batches of this at a time so that I always have homemade dressing on hand.

Add a dollop of sesame oil for an even more interesting but subtle flavor. That’s my secret ingredient.
